info + FAQs

  • At Simply Evermore, our permanent jewelry is a custom-fitted, claspless accessory made for everyday comfort and timeless style. Each piece is securely welded to stay with you through life’s special moments—but if you ever need to remove it, just snip the welded spot with scissors. You can even save your chain and have it rewelded later!

Please keep in mind that “permanent” means claspless, not indestructible. Because each piece is uniquely made just for you, all sales are final.

  • At Simply Evermore, we do not use solid gold. Our pieces are made with high-quality 14k gold filled, sterling silver, and semi-precious gemstones — materials chosen for their beauty, quality, and durability.

Please note: metals may darken or discolor over time depending on your skin’s natural chemistry. This is completely normal and not considered a defect.

We do not offer replacements or repairs for items that show signs of discoloration, dirt, or tarnish — no exceptions.

If your jewelry needs a little refresh, gently clean it with mild soap, water, and a soft cloth. You can use a soft brush for those hard-to-reach spots. Always rinse with clean water and pat dry. Avoid harsh jewelry cleaners—they can be too abrasive. For a nice finishing touch, use a polishing cloth to bring back the shine on your precious pieces.

Thank you for understanding and taking good care of your Simply Evermore pieces

  • What is gold filled jewelry?

Gold filled jewelry has a thick layer of real gold (at least 5% of the total weight) bonded to a base metal like brass or silver. It looks and feels like solid gold and lasts 10–30 years.

    How is it made?

A thick sheet of real gold is heat-bonded to a base metal, then shaped into jewelry. It’s durable and high quality.

    Is it real gold?

Yes! The outer layer is real 14k gold—the same as solid gold jewelry.

How much real gold is in it?

At least 5% real gold by weight—all on the outside where it matters.

    Gold filled vs gold plated?

Gold filled has a much thicker layer of gold and lasts much longer. Gold plated has a thin layer that can rub off easily.

    Does it contain nickel?

Nope! It’s nickel-free and safe for sensitive skin.

Is it good for sensitive skin?

Yes. If you can wear solid gold, you can wear gold filled.

Will it turn my skin green?

Very unlikely. If solid gold doesn’t do that to you, neither will gold filled.

Will it peel, rust, or tarnish?

No peeling or rust. It may fade slightly over time but can be cleaned easily. Avoid chemicals and pools for longer life.
